I’m called Ricky. It’s me that is going to do experiments in Antarctica with Lisa. I have worked with Millgate House Education and the PUPPETS Project since 2006. I like to think I know my stuff, but quite a lot of the time I get very confused by science problems and I need some help.

Here is one of my favourite photos of all time. It’s one of me with Brenda Keogh and Stuart Naylor and Kim (she’s the one with bunches). Brenda and Stuart are cool, they help me to meet lots of kids and teachers all over the world and help them to do some really exciting science.
I’m very well travelled through the PUPPETS Project – I’ve been to lots of places, hot and cold. I’ve been to Australia, Norway, Singapore, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Sweden and Iceland! I didn’t like the bugs too much in Australia though ![]()

Here’s a picture of me and all my friends when we were over in Iceland. Can you spot me?

This picture is me and some other friends in Singapore. This was a special trip because we were invited by the Ministry of Education to go over and work with them. Not sure what’s wrong with Melvyn in this picture, he’s usually so chilled out.

This picture is from when I visited the Perth National Park in Australia. Boy, was it hot there. But it was a successful trip all round.

I have lots of friends! There’s Jasmin (who likes science, just like me!), Benny, Ruby, Jed, Millie and of course Nana and Grandad. Nana and Grandad are brilliant at solving science problems!
I like to meet new people and I especially like to try out different science experiments, science is cool! ![]()
